Happy Mother's Day

To Deborah Blain and Margaret MacCallum, to Jill and Kim, and all of the Mothers:

For mending scraped knees, for pointing us in the right direction, finding that prized stuffed toy, for listening when no one else would, and then listening all the same when we bring it up again.

For staying up late so the rest of us can sleep in and for always knowing what we needed before we knew we wanted it.
